Harmony Secondary School, Lokoja (HSS) came into existence on the 20th September, 2002 as a result of the academic achievement recorded by Harmony Nursery/Primary School (i.e the Mother School). The School is located adjacent to Phase II Housing Estate, Lokoja, Kogi State. It is located on high elevation which gives natural ventilation, serene and conducive environment for effective teaching and learning. The decent and attractive rocks make it a fascinating environment to behold. The School compound houses 23 Classrooms, 4 Laboratories, A Library, A Clinic, 10 Staff Rooms, A Bookshop, Female Hostel Complex, Male Hostel Complex, Dining Hall Complex, Sports Arena, 2 Functional Boreholes, A Generator House with two Powerful Generators, Street Lighting, a Multipurpose Hall, Computer Studio, JAMB Accredited CBT Center with over 250 system etc. Since inception, the School has enjoyed peaceful and stable academic programme which has made it possible to admit and graduate students on schedule. Sixteen (16) sets of graduates have so far been produced.
